GPGP & EverWilts

SkyE's GPGP installation is currently on view at

The Loft at Liz's Gallery

March 29 to May 10, 2025

453 S La Brea

SkyE collected guests' stories of the ocean during the gallery opening of their installation at Liz's on March 29, 2025. To conclude the evening, they improvised a community-upcycled aria to form a love letter to the ocean based on all your stories.

These plastic cups, still sealed, were found in the dumpster and upcycled into melting sculptures and set pieces. Like all of our plastic-made things whose materials last forever, these flowers are constantly falling apart and needing to be put back together.

The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a site-specific installation made from collected personal and site garbage with dumpster dived seamless (long rolls of paper) to pontificate a world where most humans dwell upon all the floating garbage in the aftermath of climate disaster.
